What are your products made from?

Our baby onesies are made from 100% organic bamboo cotton. Our toddler pyjamas are made from 100% organic cotton. Both materials are soft, breathable, and free from harmful chemicals.

Are your products safe for sleep?

Yes. Our sleepwear is designed for safe sleep. We do not use flame retardants in any of our products. For safety, please ensure all sleepwear fits snugly as recommended by safety guidelines.

Where are your products made?

Our products are ethically manufactured using fair labor practices. We are a Canadian-owned company based in Toronto.

How do I choose the right size?

Please refer to our Baby Size Chart or Toddler Size Chart for detailed measurements. When in doubt, we recommend sizing up as babies grow quickly.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship to Canada, the United States, and select international destinations. Shipping times and rates vary by location. Free shipping on orders over $85 CAD in Canada, over $100 USD to the US, and over $150 USD internationally. Visit our Shipping and Returns page for details.

Who are the women behind each design?

Each Stemmewear collection is named after a trailblazing woman in STEM. The Anning celebrates paleontologist Mary Anning. The Bondar honors astronaut Roberta Bondar. The Doudna is inspired by Nobel laureate Jennifer Doudna. The Earhart celebrates aviator Amelia Earhart. The Lovelace pays tribute to computing pioneer Ada Lovelace.

Do you support any charities?

Yes. A portion of every purchase supports girls in STEM education through our charity partner, the Canadian Association for Girls in Science (CAGIS).

Shipping & Tracking

How soon will my order ship?

Your order will ship within three business days, unless otherwise notified.

How do I track my order?

As soon as your order ships, your tracking number will be emailed to you. Please keep an eye on out for an email from orders@stemmewear.co with all of the details.

Where do products ship to?

Stemmewear only ships to US and Canada at this time. Please reach out to hello@stemmewear.co if you are interested in placing an international order.

Where do products ship from?

Unless otherwise stated, products ship from Canada. Please note that Stemmewear is not responsible for customs and tariffs on products. We recommend reviewing your country’s import and duties regulations with Canada prior to ordering.

Returns & Cancellations

What is your return policy?

Returns of unused, unwashed items in their original packaging will be accepted
within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to us.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please notify us at orders@stemmewear.co as soon as possible. Orders that have not been packaged and labelled may be cancelled.

Are your clothes made ethically?

Stemmewear only sources clothing from manufacturers that uphold the highest standards for human rights and sustainable production. The factories we work with use certified organic materials and non-toxic dyes. We do not use toxic fire retardants in our materials, so please use a snug fit.

Who designs your clothes?

Stemmewear partners with talented women around the world to create our patterns. Our current patterns have been designed by women in Canada, Spain, and Ukraine.
